Early April 2016: Adventitious surface root emerging from the base of an Acer campestre/Field Maple bonsai. After some amazing results using a product called Rhizotonic, that were then confirmed by the experiences of other bonsai enthusiasts, I wrote and published an article in early April on, Rhizotonic for Bonsai Roots: An aid to strong rooting in weak bonsai

Early April 2016: I've had the pleasure of working on this Quercus robur / English Oak bonsai over the course of 7-8 years, last styling it during the Winter of 2014/15. In early April it was time to repot it. Height approximately 20"/50cm
