Another newly-pruned branch that contains normal shoot extension and some adventitious growth from old wood.

With the tree newly pruned and needle-plucked, this is an ideal time to wire the entire branch.

New adventitious buds on a branch that was pruned heavily the late-Summer before. These buds are not strong enough to support the branch yet. However, due to the pruning and plucking of surrounding branches being carried out, they will strengthen in the future.
