An Atlantic Cedar Bonsai Forest I wired and styled in 2020

This isn’t an instructional video on how to repot a typical deciduous tree. The Elm has become very refined since 2004 when I started it as an airlayer taken from the wild, and the rootball has become incredibly ramified after a succession of repots every two years.

My Acer palmatum/Japanese Maple bonsai was started as a free rooted cutting (by air-layering) in 2002 and I’ve been developing it ever since then. This video shows a brief glimpse of its history.
