Acer palmatum shirasawanum jordan/ Jordan Full Moon Japanese Maple bonsai that has green summer leaves. Grown from seed by the previous owner over many years (decades), the tree has a good age demonstrated by the maturing bark.

The maple has been newly slip-potted into good quality soil after being rootbound for a number of years. I would recommend allowing it to grow in its new substrate at least until Spring 2024.

A natural-looking tree, no wire marks and short internodes. However, I had to reduce the overall height last Winter leaving just three primary branches. At present, it is now waiting for new lower branches to pop. The nebari is also a little difficult, hence the lower asking price.

I am expecting that all of these trees will grow substantially this year having been given fresh soil to grow into.

As with all bonsai available on the bonsai4me.com/shop, this tree has been treated with Danu from ProBio Carbon to encourage disease resistance and bushier, better distributed growth habit.
