Large Cedrus libani/Cedar of Lebanon bonsai, originally from a private collection where it had been grown in a tub for over 10 years. This is quite a difficult tree to style but has huge potential. A relatively rare species, unusual to find with such a large base.

I repotted the tree into this good quality ceramic pot 2 years ago this month at the request of the previous owner. It has now recovered from this work. Originally the soil level was much higher but the repotting revealed the large base.

As indicated in the images, there are wire marks in both trunkline. These could be completely removed from one of the trunklines and I feel that the tree will be better styled as single trunk. With some skill, the trunk can be compressed; it still has some elasticity.

As with all bonsai available on the bonsai4me.com/shop, this tree has been treated with Danu from ProBio Carbon to encourage disease resistance and bushier, better distributed growth habit.
