The Scandinavian Bonsai Retreat 2 occurred in the mountains of the Dalarna region in Sweden, on 25th-26th of August.
Twelve particpants gathered in the village of Alvadalen to work alongside bonsai artist Harry Harrington of Bonsai4me.com, assisted by Jose Redondo for two days.
The organisers Thor Holvila and Carina Jern also took a party up to Fulufjäll National Park, visiting the Njupeskär waterfall and Old Tjikko, one of the oldest trees in the world (aged at 9,500 years) The Scandinavian Bonsai Retreat 2 was deemed a great success, and plans are already under way for SBR3.
